Applicable Law in Kosovo
The law applicable in Kosovo consist of laws promulgated by the Kosovo Parliament in the period from proclamation of Independence as well as UNMIK regulations entered into force during the period of UN administration. The Kosovo government continues to recognize such UNMIK regulations and laws, subject to changes and amendments according to the new situation created after proclamation of independence in February 2008.
